Fanny HOLT was born in 1861 in Sale, Cheshire. Her parents were Richard and Martha (nee SKELHORN) who were married in 1860 at Manchester Cathedral, Lancashire. Fanny married Alfred TURNER in 1888 in Salford, Lancashire and they had 6 children, including my grandfather, George. They both died in 1944 in Clevelys, Lancashire.

Richard's parents were Richard and Mary (nee DARBYSHIRE), and he was born in 1833 in Ashton on Mersey, Cheshire.

Richard was born in 1804 in Ashton on Mersey and he married Mary DARBYSHIRE in Manchester Cathedral. His parents were Richard and Frances. Richard and Mary had 4 children - Philip (who never married), Martha (nothing known after 1851 census, aged 22), Richard and James (married and had children).

Richard was baptised in 1762 in Ashton on Mersey to Richard and Ann (nee FENDER). He married Frances POWNALL, a widow in 1797 in Manchester Cathedral. Richard died in 1838 and Frances in 1844.

Richard was probably born before 1728 and died in 1762. He married Ann FENDER in 1749 in Ashton on Mersey. They had 5 children.
