Ann BRECKNOCK was born about 1803 in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire
according to the 1851, 1861 and 1871 censuses. She married William
HOPKINSON in 1823 in
Hucknall and they had seven children in either Hucknall or Papplewick,
Nottinghamshire. They had returned to Hucknall by 1871 and were
buried there in 1874 (William) and 1876 (Ann).
The parish register for Hucknall Torkard has an Ann baptised
7th November 1802, daughter of John and Mary and an Ann baptised
27th February 1803, daughter of James and Ann. I cannot decide
which, though my preference is for the latter as William and Ann
had a son called James, but not one called John.
