Benjamin Hobson OVERTON was born in 1862 in Ashby cum Fenby,
near Grimsby. His parents were Joseph and Alice. Joseph was also
born in Ashby in 1839 to Benjamin and Mary Colbeck (nee SCAMEN),
who were married in 1838. Benjamin may have been born in 1813
in Keelby, Lincolnshire, the son of Joseph and Catherine OVERTON.
